Support for Communities

Mentor & Muse extends beyond retreats to serve artists in recovery through ongoing community programming and mentorship. We host open mic nights specifically designed as psychologically safe, substance-free spaces where artists can share work in progress, rebuild confidence, and reconnect with their creative voice. For many participants, these gatherings are not simply performance opportunities — they are acts of reclamation. Recovery often requires rebuilding identity, and creative expression becomes a powerful pathway toward agency, belonging, and self-trust.

In addition to live programming, we provide continued mentorship for artists navigating both recovery and creative development. This includes one-on-one guidance, collaborative opportunities, and long-term support designed to foster artistic growth alongside personal stability. We document and amplify these journeys through our Patreon-supported podcast series, where we introduce the artists we mentor and share their stories in their own words. These conversations highlight not only the work they create, but the profound ways Mentor & Muse has helped restore confidence, community, and creative purpose in their lives. By combining public platforms with sustained relational support, we are building a network where recovery and artistry strengthen one another.
